  • Mountain Biking

    A large network of incredible biking trails can be found just outside of Florence in neighboring Cañon City. These trails provide a range of terrain difficulty for all types of riders. Bring your own bike or rent a bike through one of the many bike shops in town. Don’t forget your water!

  • Royal Gorge

    There are countless ways to experience the incredible Royal Gorge! Purchase tickets to walk along the Royal Gorge Bridge for breathtaking 360 degree views, or take in the sights from the air on a scenic helicopter ride. Catch the train car from Canyon City and enjoy a ride along the river and through the Royal Gorge.

  • Whitewater

    The Arkansas Rivers draws whitewater enthusiasts from all around. These world-class rapids can be explored with a kayak and raft rental companies who will take you on an adrenaline filled adventure you won’t forget!

  • Antique Shopping

    Florence is known as the antique capital of the state and boasts countless independent shops for thrifting and antique shopping. Most of these stores can be found on Main Street, but some larger warehouses are a short drive away.
