2011 Fall and Early Winter IMPROVEMENTS AT THE DESERT REEF
We were busy at the Reef this Fall and early Winter with the
Unplanned replacement of a major drainage pipe, along with regular, scheduled drain maintenance completed before the new year.
Skins were replaced on the Greenhouse
New shade cloth added to the covered area by the pool
Special added touches to our office area, thanks to our “resident decorator” Cathy.
And, we located a supplier for our future chaise lounges!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS, 2012, to one and to all, who make it possible for us to continue our hot spring business here at the Reef over the past 26 years. Thank you everyone.
The past year, 2011, has been full of activities here at the Reef and we plan to continue efforts to make our hot spring THE hot spring of choice in our Southern Colorado area.
Let’s make this new year the most prosperous one yet as we grow and connect in meaningful ways yet to be discovered.

Well, we have had a busy, productive summer here at The Reef. LJ and I want to thank you for your loyal support and a heartfelt welcome to all our newcomers this summer. Keep coming back!! Bring a trusted friend and continue enjoying the soothing waters together.
Projects completed this summer:
.New skins for the Greenhouse Guest Area are up!
.Woodpanels on the Greenhouse were repaired and painted; and wood baseboards replaced. We had a great team that helped us with the Greenhouse. Thanks you know who you are!!

As a physician, I have found many people are confused by medical words, so, this quarter I am going to differentiate two words, ACUTE & CHRONIC.
Our wellness can be interrupted by an “acute” illness or injury. “Acute” meaning
“right now, or in the recent past” An acute illness or injury happens, hopefully we get better within days or several weeks, and then we move on.
